As clunky as it felt, it was still better than the DT MSQ and the follow-up in the 'thunder dome'. We got an amazing villain/rival, met many different characters, learned new cultures, and none of it felt overshadowed by a single character. Even Lyse wasn't pushy since the focus was split between two nations. It was solid, even if it dragged on.
